"An overall well appointed and comfortable hotel in proximity to the University of Chicago, and likely the best hotel within walking distance. Pleasantly decorated rooms and high quality furnishings, nice art in public space. The area is gentrifying but not quite upscale… good bar and restaurant. Would happily stay again if visiting U of C."

"I booked this hotel out of convenience of location to the C2E2 expo. I paid A L O T. PROS:The front desk were hepful & friendly. Check out was Noon, which is later than most. I did like the full size bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, & lotion. The room was clean but... CONS: the sheets & bedspread were so thin. It felt & sounded like we were sleeping on newspapers. I could hear every other room using their sink, tub, or toilet. I get the hotel charges more during conventions/shows, but other than location (in my instance) it IS NOT worth $300+ per night"

"Pool was saline and clean and warm enough to actually use. Breakfast was nice. Parking was $50 in the self park next door. Entrance houses 3 hotels which is confusing. Hotel had clean products and no terrible chemical or mold smells."

"At the lakeside, but you have to go through the overpass on the south side, you can see the night view of the city at night, but the return journey must return to the original road. We want to go around the loop and the result of the navigation is going through the very dark park, which looks inside. Very unsafe. There are some high-rise apartments around, it doesn't feel like a black area, but it's a trouble to go black in the middle of the night."

"This hotel provides a great value! The room is very spacious and clean! Breakfast is also included and although it was quite basic, but it serves me well. The surrounding area is pretty quiet so guests can have a good rest in the night! I highly recommend this place!"
